Building Maintenance Units
Alternative Access LTD design a range of Building Maintenance units (BMU’s) for buildings where regular maintenance is required, a powered trolley system offers an economic solution for both window cleaning, maintenance and light repair works. All vertical motions are operated from within the cradle and horizontal and luffing motions are optional form the cradle or form the jib head depending on the type of vertical restraint applied to the cradle.
All our BMU’s are designed in accordance with BS:EN 1808.
Our BMU’s are mostly always configured as an assembly of 3 components.
- The traversing track. Which let’s the machine traverse around the building perimeter.
- The main trolley and jib on the roof. Which have mostly all the main movements and its logic controls
- The cradle. Which will hold the users.
