Permanent Access System
Alternative Access Logistics was involved in one of the most challenging access projects to date. Using the flexible KOT-106 aluminium track a bespoke system was designed resulting in an elegant solution that preserved the building's aesthetic externally and internally.
Complete access to the internal and external fabric of the building were required.
The unique flexibility of the aluminium track allowed for bends and twists vertically and horizontally. This allowed for the correct orientation of the suspended cradle at all times without the need for operatives to stop works, reposition or redeploy. The access system stays in close proximity to the facades.
The cradles were specifically designed to prevent damage to the cladding and glazed panels. Powerful IL-400 Interlift motors can negotiate vertical climbs under considerable load and in complete safety.
The tailored design of the supporting brackets and tracks complement the building profiles.
